DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING OBJECTIVES
This Degree trains operators with knowledge and skills necessary to perform radiological surveys and tasks in compliance with regulations, both autonomously or following medical prescriptions. Moreover, they can operate in all situations requiring the use of natural or artificial sources of ionising radiation, thermal energy, ultrasonic energy, magnetic resonance imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, as well as physical or dosimetry protection pursuant to Ministerial Decree No 746 of 26th September 1994.
Course attendance is mandatory for all activities - both theoretical classes and traineeship.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
This Degree qualifies graduates as Radiology Technicians.
Graduate can work as freelancers or as employees both within the Italian National and Regional Health Service and non/accredited private facilities. They implement diagnostic and therapeutic protocols in direct collaboration with radio-diagnostic, nuclear and radiotherapy physicians or health physicists.
